As the Ardeca Historic Ypres Rally prepares to take centre stage during the final weekend of June, the 2026 FIA European Historic Rally Championship heads to Belgium’s Westhoek region for one of the most iconic events on the calendar.
Dedicated to the legendary rally cars of past decades, the EHRC continues to enjoy growing popularity, attracting high-profile names such as Jari-Matti Latvala, alongside François Delecour and the spectacular Peugeot 306 Maxi. A line-up guaranteed to excite fans eager to relive the golden years of rallying through some of the discipline’s most celebrated machines.
To mark the occasion, Michelin Motorsport and its Benelux distributor Kronos Tyres have joined forces to launch a special initiative aimed at EHRC competitors. Ahead of the start of the rally, ten Michelin tyres will be awarded through a prize draw during a convivial gathering hosted by Kronos Tyres on Friday morning.

By enabling several crews to compete under the banner of the famous Michelin Man, performance, reliability and passion will once again be at the heart of the action in Ypres.
The 2026 Ypres Historic Rally gets underway on Friday, June 26, with four opening special stages, including the legendary Kemmelberg test. Saturday’s second leg features no fewer than ten special stages before the winner is crowned at around 16:00 and succeeds reigning event winner Pieter-Jan Maeyaert and his BMW M3 E30 in the rally’s record books.
