It was a very difficult and agonising decision to make, but Club Superstage has decided to cease the organisation of the Aarova Oudenaarde Rally.
A 9th edition of the Aarova Oudenaarde Rally, was to be a round of the Belgian Championship Division 2, however it will not take place this summer. Undoubtedly it is a shame as the atmospheric ceremonial Grote Markt in Oudenaarde and beautiful stages through the Flemish Ardennes and Hainaut, the Aarova Rally had a lot of charm and charisma.
After the loss-making edition of 2023, local partnerships had been sort in recent months to limit the financial risk. That search did not lead to the desired result. Club Superstage does not want to jeopardise the survival of its other events, it was decided with pain in their hearts to say goodbye to the Aarova Oudenaarde Rally, the only road rally in East Flanders.
